I know you don't know me, but I happened to stumble upon your work a while back (more like yesterday) and it's really good. I'm currently working on an RPG game, and I was wondering if you wanted to help with cutscenes and such. It seems right up your alley, and, even though you don't know me, I hope maybe we can work together sometime?

Sorry for the late reply, just got back from Japan for Christmas / New Years vacation.

I'm fairly flaky when it comes to projects and have fallen through on a few in the past couple years alone --- so, I try to avoid committing to stuff on principle. Further, I barely hit my "weekly deadline" as is --- gaming and work take up a lot of time~

All that said, you're more than welcome to submit any ideas and I'll let you know what I think. Additionally, if my current works have any model/texture assets that interest you, I could probably send them your way. (Though, my files tend to be a bit of a mess to navigate~)

I don't have any sort of deadline planned, so any time you have free is fine. Besides, I was only going to ask if you could take a few MMD snapshots (that I still have to make >•<) and maybe make one or two, or make them look better, or help me do it, because I cannot, for the life of me, do things like that. The programming part is fine, the cutscene part is...uhh...not the best, to put it lightly. I'm not the best at artsy things like that, but i can program, and i'd say I do it fairly well for a high-schooler whose never had that class

MMD you say? Never actually dealt with it --- so I'm not entirely sure I'll be able to help. I actually use Blender for my work; it's great (free) software but the import/export conversions aren't always the best. But, you've piqued my interest so I'll at least take a look.

Also, I'm actually a programmer as well! College grad though; been in the working world for 2 or so years now. My code isn't always efficient and I haven't really been good at following standards... but insurance agencies aren't exactly on the cutting edge of technology; was running XP up until the last minute it was supported and primarily code VB.NET in Visual Studio 2010.

Aww...You're so much older than me...I'm still a freshman, so, uhm...Anyway, I'm glad a piqued your interest and MMD is actually really easy to use, and no doubt you've probably seen MMD pictures on DA before, so, seeing as I have the models and the stages, I'll be getting screenshots or something soon I hope. Again, I don't set deadlines for things purely done in good fun, and I don't see why anyone does, but I'm probably more naive then most, so I'll be quiet about that. Anyway, it'll most likely be very useful to have someone experienced somewhere accessible. No doubt I'll end up stuck somewhere and need some help. I will probably check Blender out as well; I've never heard of it. But hopefully the pictures I make won't look too much like an inexperienced 14 year old girl made them...hopefully...

And feel free to ask for assistance / advice whenever. Art, programming, or whatever. I probably won't always help out, but sometimes it is fun~

Heh. I feel ancient on the net nowadays~

My wife was a huge vocaloid fan (probably still is, just not as active) so I've seen a fair share of MMD. Will be fun to get a closer look at how it's done; character animation in Blender can be a pain... but at the same time I've only done a very small amount of vids.

Blender isn't the most user friendly 3D software I've used (that honor goes to Cinema 4D, the worst was 3DS Max) but being free, having a ton of features (3D by verts/sculpting, animation, game creation, simulation, AI, even 2D animation / movie editing), and having a very active development community has made me stick with it. --- Actually, I learned of Blender back at the start of high school. An online friend introduced me so that I could help him with some game graphics. Later on, found out my comp-hardware teacher used it and he printed me the entire (at the time) 500 page manual.

And don't worry about how your stuff looks; I've had 6 consecutive years of weekly updates (that deadline thing I mentioned) to prevent myself from falling into the art slump I had near the end of high school. The oldest of my wallpapers / the entirety of the drawing section of my site (picanogfx.unotaku.com/3D-wallp…) was from before that~

Don't feel too bad, I'm not the most up-to-date either. And I like Vocoloid as well, but Hetalia got me into doing MMD graphics and such. APH MMD videos are fun ^-^ And, haha, another online person might get you into MMD, another motion software, for game graphics. XD That's really funny actually...

And I always worry about how my work looks. That's why I only posted the two pictures in my profile and even then, I feel like I should take one down because I don't like how it came out...
I'm not confident in my work nor am I in myself, so putting my work out anywhere is hard...I'll be sure to ask whenever though!
